A narrative on human existence and the afterlife, "Life" is a piece that is just as full of questions as answers.
The skull represents our mortality and the flames represent the ashes we came from, and the ashes we must return too. The sacred geometric pattern, the flower of life, seen inside the skull represents the soul. Breaking out of the skull is heaven.
Does life end when we die? Does it continue on? Or, are we all connected in a way that is not so simple?
"Life" asks us to meditate on our own beliefs, open our minds, and dive into the mystery this piece is named after.
